Deposit Policy

A fully refundable damage deposit is required for all rentals. This deposit protects the business against loss, damage, or theft of equipment during the hire period.

Payment: Deposits are collected by stripe payment or bank transfer and must be received in full before equipment is delivered or collected. Your rental will not be confirmed until both the rental fee and deposit have cleared.

Condition check: Our team photographs all equipment immediately before delivery and immediately upon collection. You will be asked to confirm the condition of the equipment on delivery. By accepting delivery, you confirm the equipment has arrived in the condition described. If you have any concerns about the condition of equipment on arrival, you must raise them at the time of delivery.

Refund: Your deposit will be returned in full within 24 hours of collection, provided the equipment is returned in the same condition it was delivered, with no missing components, and within the agreed hire period. Refunds are made by bank transfer to the account from which the deposit was paid.

Deductions: Deductions from the deposit may be made to cover the reasonable cost of repairing or replacing damaged or missing components, cleaning where equipment is returned in an unsatisfactory condition, and additional hire charges where equipment is retained beyond the agreed return time without prior agreement. Any deduction will be itemised and communicated to you in writing within 48 hours of collection. Normal wear and tear will not be charged.

Disputes: If you disagree with a deduction, please contact us within 48 hours of receiving our itemised notice. We will review the matter in good faith using photographic evidence taken at delivery and collection. If we cannot reach agreement, the matter may be referred to the small claims court.
